Latest openings at Riverside

An exciting experiential bar concept opened at Canterbury’s new Riverside development in early September, together with two new restaurants and a gaming operator.

Boom Battle Bar, a chain of “competitive social” bars, is an innovative concept providing a broad range of group gaming activities, including Axe Throwing, Shuffleboard and Augmented Reality Darts as well as Beer/Prosecco Pong, Crazier Golf and Karaoke.

The owners of Boom Battle Bar are known for their passion for creating environments that both customers and staff want to experience again and again. The concept will appeal to families, students and working professionals, and provides a new day to night activity.

Boom Battle Bars joins a host of other new bar and restaurant concepts at Riverside – a five-screen Curzon cinema, Korean Cowgirl, Heavenly Desserts, Fireaway Pizzas and Pan Asian fine dining experience Sekkoya.
Completing the new line-up are competitive gaming concept, Side Quest, providing a gamers hub, suitable for children and adults, and Asian supermarket chain, Starry Mart, offering a range of food and beverages from China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Riverside Social – a stylish new foodhall operator – will also be joining the Riverside line-up. The company currently operates a 10-strong network of Chi Pan-Asian restaurants, with sites in major towns and cities across the UK, including Norwich, Cambridge, Derby and in London’s New Oxford Street.
